August fund performance update
 
Volatility weighs on fund performance
Markets pulled back in August, driven by the threat of Fed tapering and economic headwinds in emerging markets. In light of this volatility, most of our funds witnessed declines.  Our BlackRock World Gold and Mining Funds bucked the trend though rising by 6.8% and 3.7% respectively.  Our Irish and UK property funds also posted positive returns over the month.
