As Aviva Investors continues to transform its business, Euan Munro, Group Chief Executive Officer, has made a number of appointments to strengthen his senior leadership team.   All three people bring extensive experience to Aviva Investors.  These include:

• John Dewey, Head of Investment Strategy for Global Investment Solutions business. John joins Aviva Investors on 22 February and will report jointly to Mark Versey, Chief Investment Officer, Global Investment Solutions, and Paul Moody, Global Head of Product and Market Intelligence. John joins from BlackRock, where he spent eight years in a variety of leadership roles in Investment Strategy, LDI, Private Assets and Market Insights. Prior to this, he worked in investment and actuarial consulting.
• David Clayton was appointed Chief Financial Officer:  David will be responsible for the financial affairs of Aviva Investors, including reporting, capital and performance. He has over 30 years’ experience in the financial sector, and previously held senior roles at Standard Life and PwC.
• Mike Craston was appointed as Global Head of Business Development:, Mike will oversee Business Development activities worldwide; encompassing client solutions, client service, product and market intelligence, marketing and external communications. Mike has over 30 years’ experience in the asset management industry, with a strong track record in helping businesses grow assets under management and developing client-focused teams. Most recently, Mike worked at Legal & General Investment Management for over 10 years, during which time he led global distribution and client servicing and also served as Chief Executive Officer for both its America and Asia businesses. 

New appointments to Aviva Investors’ Liquid Markets leadership team

David Lis, Chief Investment Officer, Multi-Assets and Equities, is to retire from his full-time role in March 2016. Mark Connolly, previously Chief Investment Officer, Fixed Income, has been promoted to the role of Chief Investment Officer for Liquid Markets, encompassing Multi-Assets, Fixed Income and Equities. Dan James and Chris Murphy have been promoted to the roles of Global Head of Fixed Income and Global Head of Equities, respectively, while Peter Fitzgerald will continue in his role of Global Head of Multi-Assets.

Dan, Chris and Peter will lead each of their respective investment functions with day-to-day responsibility for investment performance, people and processes. They will come together to form a newly-created Investment Leadership team, reporting in to Mark. Additionally, Mark will play a key engagement role in helping the business adapt to the evolving regulatory environment. Over the next few months, David will work closely with the Investment Leadership team to ensure a smooth transition and, after stepping down from his full-time responsibilities in March, he will continue to work with Aviva Investors in a consultative capacity.

Strengthening the Multi Asset Team
Peter Fitzgerald, Head of Multi Assets at Aviva Investors has also made a number of appointments to strengthen the Multi Asset team.  

Tom Wells and Paul Parascandalo have been appointed as Fund Managers in the Multi Asset Team:  Paul has extensive fund management experience and in addition to these portfolios he is a lead manager on the Aviva With Profits Fund.  Paul has been with Aviva Investors since 2011.  Tom Wells brings both portfolio management and manager selection skills and joined Aviva Investors in 2012.  Paul and Tom look forward to meeting wtih you in the coming months.
